Period Windsors is pleased to add Scandinavian Folk Art, handcrafted in our shop, available at our St. Croix Falls location.
This a handcrafted 3 leg corner chair is an interpretation of a chair shown in the Vesterheim Museum.
The Tine Box, pronounced, “teen-a,” is a traditional Scandinavian bent wood box. They are completely handcrafted with traditional hand tools. The bent wood sides are hand laced and are attached to the base with wooden pegs.
Tine Boxes can be finished in a variety of colors using milk paint or a traditional shellac.
